Mountain world & water
Mountain Wildseeloder
Our local mountain, the Wildseeloder, with its striking summit, dreamlike panorama and the mystical Wildseelodersee lake, provides an impressive backdrop. You may not necessarily be above the clouds here, but the freedom under the summit cross of the Wildseeloder is truly boundless. The opportunities to discover nature on the "Loder" are also limitless.
The Cross of St. James
The Jakobskreuz on the summit of the Buchensteinwand, the most beautiful panoramic mountain in the PillerseeTal, is one of the many highlights in the Kitzbühel Alps. With a height of around 30 meters, the largest accessible summit cross in the world offers a magnificent view over the vacation region and invites you to pause and linger.
Triassic Park
Triassic Park offers special attractions for dinosaur fans of all ages. Young and young-at-heart dinosaur detectives can explore the Triassic Trail, dig for fossils on Triassic Beach or marvel at the panorama from the 70m-high viewing platform. If the mountain weather doesn't show its sunny side, the Triassic Center and the stalactite cave open their doors to all prehistoric explorers whatever the weather. Those who know all the dinosaur secrets then have great opportunities for hiking, climbing or biking in the 3-country region of Tyrol-Salzburg-Bavaria.
PillerseeTal - a water kingdom
In addition to our panoramic indoor/outdoor pool and our swimming pond at Tirol Camp, our region offers many other refreshing moments. The PillerseeTal is literally (a) WATER REICH. The Waidring bathing lake, the refreshing Pillersee in St. Ulrich am Pillersee, the Lauchsee in Fieberbrunn, as well as an indoor and outdoor pool invite you to splash around and swim. The eponymous Pillersee is the emerald-green heart of the valley. Refreshingly cold in summer, it attracts bathers on hot days. And you can also literally splash around in drinking water in the Waidring bathing lake - pure luxury, say some, for us PillerseeTalers it goes without saying. The Lauchsee above Fieberbrunn, with its moorland and healing properties, is a paradise for relaxation.
